Throughout my life, I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands – building, creating, fixing, and dissecting. Being born with only 3 fingers on each hand, you might think the opposite! However, my limb difference made me highly adaptable, and I tend to look at problem-solving differently from others. There’s always a solution, whatever the challenge might be!

At a very young age, I enjoyed taking stuff apart just to figure out how they worked. Sometimes, I could identify a more optimal way for them to function as I put them back together again. By my late teens and early twenties, I had dabbled in construction, framing, landscaping, and even hardscaping. Each job was physically demanding but equally fulfilling. For the last several years, I have been making furniture for myself and my family, when I wasn’t working my day job behind a desk. It was love at first build. So I said goodbye to my career in apparel design and took the leap into full-time woodworking.
